People are keeping themselves busy by watching Netflix, learning new hobbies, or simply by playing games on their mobile phones, PCs, Xbox, or Playstations. I’m also one of them, I keep playing games the whole day. And now I’m using valorant boosting to push my ranks higher. This will also give me more time to focus on other things. You can do the same, take out some time from your schedule, and pay attention to your home. Maybe your bathroom needs a little more love, or maybe this can be an opportunity for you to do some DIY activity for your home. You can do many small home improvement tasks that are quick. So, here is a list of some of the best home decor ideas that you can follow during the COVID-19.

1. Build a garden

For many people. Gardening is a hobby, and they love maintaining a garden. And now you can also try it while you are in self-quarantine. This can be an opportunity for you to produce your own ‘farm to table’ greens.

You can either grow flowers or food depending upon your preference and conditions. If you don’t have much space outside, you can also choose to grow plants that can easily grow indoors. Also, do not worry if you haven’t done gardening before or do not have much experience with it, you can use various innovative products that will help you grow a garden even if you are a novice. Grow light is one of such examples, as they can help in getting faster germination and growth.

2. Rearrange your furniture

Rearranging your furniture can be a great and easy idea to refresh your home. You might even get some added space after all the rearrangement. You will witness how simply moving some pieces of furniture can change the look of the interior of your house. Also, you do not have to buy any new stuff for this activity. This will also keep you busy throughout your day.

There are a few tips that you can follow –

  • Start off by choosing a focal point and then start arranging your furniture around it. This will help you get a better room structure. You can choose your TV, a window, or something else like that to make it as your focal point.
  • Always move the larger furniture items first, then move the other smaller furniture items around them. And before you decide to shift any item, make sure you have a plan about where you want to place the furniture.
  • While you are rearranging your items, you need to make sure that there are no obstacles in between.

3. Get organized by clearing the clutter

It is time for you to get up from your couch and start organizing your home. And the easiest way to do this is by de-cluttering. You will be surprised by the amount of space you will get after this simple activity.

4. Take care of your fitness – make a home gym

All the gyms are close amid coronavirus, all the fitness freaks are now stuck inside. We can not deny the importance of regular exercise and keeping yourself fit. Regular exercise can help both your physical and mental health. It can make you feel happier, and it can also increase your brain sensitivity towards the hormones serotonin and norepinephrine. These two hormones help in reducing the feelings of depression. Now, if you have an extra room, you can turn that room into a gym. Put in some equipment to your gym, and start with your basic exercises.

5. Decorate your walls

We all are staying indoors, and this has brought us closer to our families. And while you are spending more and more time with our families, you can dig up your family photos. These photos will take you back to the ‘good old times’. From these photos, select your favorite ones and make a gallery wall.

6. Come up with a plan

Before you start anything, it is important for you to plan out everything in advance. You have to plan when and how you have to complete your next task of home improvement. You have to be sure about where to shift and put your furniture items, especially the larger ones. And that’s not the end of it. Now is the right time to  try all those delicious recipes that you have been waiting to try out. Also, some tasks can take a bit longer than the others, so be ready with a plan about how and when to execute a task.
